Project Manager - Bang & Partners
Own the client, lead the team, land the impact - and help build a new consulting firm while you do it.
Bang & Partners is a brand-new procurement consultancy - and you can be part of it from the very beginning. We combine the raw energy and ownership of a start-up with the rigour of top-tier consulting - and impact that goes beyond it, because we execute, not just advise. The firm is founded and led by Thor Bang-Ellingsen, who over 13 years helped build Prokura - a Nordic procurement consultancy acquired by Kearney - into a global firm, and built its Norwegian business from the ground up. He knows exactly what it takes. The network is there, and the track record to believe we will succeed again. What we are building now is the team that takes it to the next level - and we want you in it early.

The opportunity
As a Project Manager at Bang & Partners, you own the client relationship and the result end-to-end. You lead engagement teams, run the day-to-day relationship with senior stakeholders, and take accountability for impact that lands in the P&L. As one of our early leaders, you also help shape how the firm delivers, wins and grows - this is an associate-partner-track role from the start.
This is a partner-track firm by design. Everyone who joins is on a genuine equity journey toward co-ownership, grown deliberately and on merit - and as a Project Manager you are firmly on that path.
What you will do
Own engagements end-to-end - scope, plan, team, delivery and the client relationship
Lead and coach engagement teams, setting a high bar for quality and pace
Manage senior client stakeholders and keep the work anchored to measurable impact
Turn analysis into decisions clients act on, with AI woven into how the team works
Contribute to business development - proposals, scoping, and growing existing accounts
Help build Bang & Partners: offerings, delivery methods, ways of working, and the next generation of consultants
What we are looking for
Master's degree with a strong academic record (e.g. economics, engineering, business or a related field)
Around 4-7 years of relevant experience, primarily or wholly from a leading consulting firm, including project/engagement leadership within procurement
A track record of leading teams and owning senior client relationships
Structured and pragmatic, able to move work forward with limited bureaucracy
Strong commercial instinct and the beginnings of a business-development track record
High ownership mindset and genuine drive to build something new
Fluent in Norwegian and English
Excited by AI as part of the craft - quick to adopt the best tools, and keen to help shape the ones we build ourselves
Procurement is our focus - but we're also open to strong supply chain profiles, an area we plan to grow.
What we offer
A once-in-a-career chance to help build a consulting firm - as one of its first leaders
Real ownership of clients and outcomes, with the mandate to run engagements your way
An associate-partner track with a genuine equity journey toward co-ownership, grown on merit
Faster growth and more influence than any established firm can offer
Shared upside, not just salary - when we win, everyone wins
A sustainable, high-trust work model built for the long game, not for burnout
Ready to build?
A new firm, and a seat at the table while it is still being built. If leading the work and building the firm is the challenge you want, we would love to hear from you.
